Playlist Covers

Just as I have a passion for visual arts, I have the same passion for music. I listen to a wide variety of genres, which you can see here. It has always been my dream to design an album cover for a professional artist. An album cover is where the visual and audio arts overlap. Not only do genres have a specific sound, they also have a specific look. Whether its the grunginess of metal or the elegance of classical music, you can look at an album cover and likely discern what it sounds like. I wanted to use my design skills to make custom playlist covers for my Spotify almost as faux album covers, each with their own discernible look informed by the genre they are representing. Some of the playlist names are straight forward, while others only really make sense to me.
